Christine C. Edwards is the Founder, Owner, and Chief Executive Officer of Edwards Management Consultants, Incorporated (EMC, Inc.). Located in the heart of Charles Town, West Virginia, EMC, Inc.’s primary mission is to help meet your company’s hiring needs with poise, with promptness, and with professionalism.
With more than two decades of proven experience and expertise in the area of human capital procurement and management, Mrs. Edwards has grown EMC Inc. from a one-woman consulting firm to a highly regarded, employee oriented, robust enterprise which provides human resource related services and guidance to both public and private organizations. Under her leadership, EMC, Inc. has rapidly become a recognized name that federal agencies and industry leaders seek out to deliver cost effective, quality personnel in a timely manner.
EDUCATION
Mrs. Edwards holds Associate of Arts degrees in Business Management and in Human Resource Management. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Resources and Organizational Development from Concordia University in St. Paul, Minnesota as well as takes continuing education courses to obtain professional certification in human capital supervision through the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) in Alexandria, Virginia.
CIVIC INVOLVEMENT
Mrs. Edwards is dedicated to improving the plight of her community via public engagements. Some of her civic and social endeavors include the following:
- Served as Vice President of the Pregnancy Crisis Center in Martinsburg, West Virginia
- Committed to helping others start their own business and experience the American Dream.
- Actively involved with working with at risk youth and volunteers with the Jefferson County Teen Court in Charles Town.
- Member of the Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce
FAMILY
Upon moving to Charles Town, West Virginia in the fall of 2003, Christine and her husband, Vincent, decided to adopt four children from the State of West Virginia to provide a stable, healthy, safe, and positive environment for them. Although they are not her biological offspring, they are indeed a part of the Edwards family.
